What form of payment do you accept?
We happily accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Paypal.
Our shopping site uses Paypal, a global, trusted source for online payments which allows you to pay with either your Paypal account or with one of the three major credit cards we accept. Paypal uses SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption when transmitting certain information, such as financial services or payment information. An icon resembling a padlock is displayed on the bottom of most browsers' windows during SSL transactions that involve credit cards and other forms of payment.
When will my order ship?
Orders will ship 24 - 72 hours after they are received. For express shipping please contact the studio. We can be reached Monday through Friday 9AM - 5PM at: firstname.lastname@example.org
What form of shipping do you use?All domestic orders have a flat rate shipping fee of $5.00 and ship via USPS or UPS Ground, depending on what carrier gives the best price. We also offer UPS Expedited, but this cost varies depending on your location and is not covered in the $5 shipping flat rate. International order shipping fees are calculated by the carrier chosen at check out and shipped via First Class International Mail Insured. UPS is also available for international orders, but again, this price varies depending on your location.
*International Buyers, please note: If you choose UPS as your shipper, they often charge a "handling" fee on top of Custom/Duty fees. This fee varies from country to country, but it is an added fee that we have no control over and cannot predict what it may be.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes! Please note that when ordering from us, the recipient is the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the destination country. Orders shipped to countries outside the United States may be subject to import taxes, customs duties, and fees levied by the destination country. The recipient must also bear additional charges for customs clearance. We do not have control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be.
Please note: Orders refused at the point of delivery will incur return shipping charges and a restocking fee of 10% of the order cost. Return shipments are returned at the market price on shipping which can be 3x the original price as we cannot secure our store discount for returned packages.
US and International Law requires us to list the full retail value of items ordered, and we cannot send any package as a "gift." On occasion, customs agents may open/inspect or delay delivery. Please get in touch with your local customs office for more information on customs fees and procedures.
International orders that ship via First Class Mail will receive tracking, but once it leaves the US, tracking may not be required by the destination country. Thus, if there is a problem, there is only a guarantee of recovering or replacing your package if you have purchased Route Protection shipping insurance. If you purchase Route Protection shipping insurance, your purchase is completely covered if lost, stolen, or damaged from shipping. Route Insurance only covers your purchase for 30 days, so if you are still waiting to receive your package within two weeks of ordering, Route requests you contact them so they can begin an investigation and/or handle reimbursement or replacement.
What is your return policy?
Returns are accepted within ten days of receipt and must be returned in the original packaging and condition. Please get in touch with us at email@example.com for a return authorization and address. Unless damaged, shipping costs are non-refundable, and all costs for return shipments are the customer's responsibility. Uusi does not assume responsibility for reimbursement or compensation of returned packages lost in transit without proof of delivery to Uusi.
Returns are processed once the items are received at the studio. Refunds will have a 10% restocking fee deducted from the return refund.
Missing or lost orders must be notified to firstname.lastname@example.org within seven days of the expected or stated delivery date.

What happens if my order is damaged?
Should anything arrive damaged, please photograph the outside and inside of the box along with the damage and send it to email@example.com. Do not throw away the box or damaged goods. All damage claims must be sent within seven days of delivery. We will take care of all damages and get a new item out to you immediately!
Uusi will never sell, rent, loan or distribute any personal information to third parties under any circumstances, including those who subscribe to our mailing list. The information we collect is used to process your order. We are committed to protecting our customer's privacy.
What does “Uusi” mean?
Uusi is Finnish for “new”. You pronounce it “oosee”. You see?
