What form of payment do you accept?
We happily accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Paypal.
Our shopping site uses a global, trusted source for online payments. We do not have access to your payment info, and it is protected by a secure SSL transaction portal.
When will my order ship?
Orders will ship 24 - 72 hours after they are received. For express shipping please contact the studio. We can be reached Monday through Friday 9AM - 5PM at: studio@uusi.us
Order Cancellations. Any order cancelled within 24 hours of purchase will have a 7% credit card processing fee subtracted from it. We get chargedd both when a transaction is completed, and again, if it is refunded. As a very small company we cannot bear the burden of these fees. No cancellations are possible after 24 hours. Please choose carefully.
What form of shipping do you use?
All domestic orders ship via UPS Ground or USPS. We also offer both USPS and UPS Expedited, but this cost varies depending on your location. All domestic orders over $75 ship for free either UPS or USPS.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes! Please note that when ordering from us, the recipient is the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the destination country. Orders shipped to countries outside the United States may be subject to import taxes, custom/duties, and fees levied by the shipper of choice. We do not have control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be.
International order shipping fees are calculated by the carrier chosen at check out. If shipped via USPS First Class International Mail we highly recommend picking up the Route Insurance Protection. International orders shipped without this insurance via USPS or UPS are shipped at the customer's risk. No refunds will be available if the package is missing or damaged unless you have Route Insurance.
Please note that you have 30 days from the time of purchase to collect on that insurance. If you have not received your pacakge in two weeks after purchase please contact the studio so we can help you. Our email address is: studio@uusi.us
If choosing UPS as your shipper for an international order, they often charge a brokerage/handling fee on top of custom/duty fees. This can add $18 - $20 per shipment. This fee varies from country to country, but it is an added fee that we have no control over, and cannot predict what it may be. Shipping fees at the time of purchase do not reflect these additional charges.
Please note: International orders refused by the customer at the point of delivery will be considered abandoned. No refund is possible for refusing to pay on custom/duty/handling fees. If a package is returned to the US we are charged these duties plus higher return costs at regular UPS rates. We kindly ask for your understanding, as these costs make cancellations or refunds after arrival financially unfeasible for our small business. Please consider before you place your order.
Gift Status US and International Law requires us to list the full retail value of items ordered, and we cannot send any package as a "gift."
Tacking International orders that ship via First Class Mail will receive tracking, but once it leaves the US, tracking may not be required by the destination country. Thus, if there is a problem, there is only a guarantee of recovering or replacing your package if you have purchased Route Protection shipping insurance. If you purchase Route Protection shipping insurance, your purchase is completely covered if lost, stolen, or damaged from shipping. Route Insurance only covers your purchase for 30 days, so if you are still waiting to receive your package within two weeks of ordering, Route requests you contact them so they can begin an investigation and/or handle reimbursement or replacement.
What is your return policy?
Returns are accepted within five days of receipt and must be returned in the original packaging and condition. Please get in touch with us at studio@uusi.us for a return authorization and address. Unless damaged, shipping costs are non-refundable, and all costs for return shipments are the customer's responsibility. Uusi does not assume responsibility for reimbursement or compensation of returned packages lost in transit without proof of delivery to Uusi.
Returns are for store credit only.
All prints, one-of-a-kind items, and gilded decks are final sale. Unless they are damaged they cannot be refunded.

What happens if my order is damaged?
Should anything arrive damaged, please notify us within five days of receipt of the item. All damage claims require a photograph of the outside and inside of the shipping box, along with a damage photo of the item. These photos need to be sent to studio@uusi.us. Do not throw away the box or damaged goods. Once reviewed, we will contact you immediately to finalize your return/replacement.
What is your privacy policy?
Uusi will never sell, rent, loan or distribute any personal information to third parties under any circumstances, including those who subscribe to our mailing list. The information we collect is used to process your order. We are committed to protecting our customer's privacy.
What does “Uusi” mean?
Uusi is Finnish for “new”. You pronounce it “oosee”.
